The image of a strong person easily becomes another demand. Fatigue is then experienced as failure and needing another person as weakness.
Inner support is not born from total control. It grows from more precise contact: what is happening to me, how much energy do I have, what do I want, where is my boundary and whom can I ask for help?
Sometimes supporting yourself means acting. Sometimes pausing. Sometimes letting another person stay close. Maturity is not carrying everything alone, but choosing the form of support that fits.
